On Friday, December 8th, 2023 I called Pancho Thompson of east Cleveland, OH and bought 5 original 1956 Corvette wheels.  
Wheels arrived on Wednesday, December 13th around 7 pm.  I immediately went to work looking for signs of authenticity.

Here are some photos that illustrate what original 1956 corvette wheels look like.  Note the extra bump just outside the lug nut outer ring. That is a sign of original.
Remanufactured wheels for '56-'62 do not have that extra bump.

Also notice the year stamp in the larger inner slope inside the wheel.
